Social Impact of IT The negative side on IT for individuals is that they get consumed by it, they stop hanging out with friends and doing their old day to day schedule and spend near enough all of their time on the Internet. For some it's a habit that's hard to break, and for others it's a way of life. The massive impact of communites made by IT is that for school students they're able to do their research a lot faster and are able to learn about more stuff in a faster pace than they would of done if they had to read a book to learn the stuff they could literally learn within a few hours time. It also makes life on teachers a lot easier due to the way they can get their students to hand in their homework if they're doing it online. The impact of IT on society as a whole is that now near enough everyone uses the Web every day, some for news, some for socializing and others for games etc... The massive of IT on society is that people now use the web more to communicate rather then going outside and socializing, many people start to lose their ability to communicate to people after a while because they spend near enough all of their time on the Internet. While using the Internet has its advantages is also has its disadvantages. Its disadvantages being; people can become addicted to it, they lose their social life and they become anxious when talking to people. Threats and Negative impact of IT Since a lot of people use the Internet near enough everyday there will always be those who get Cyber Bullied, for no reason at all. There are many reasons on why Cyber Bullying still exists, mainly because they can always create new accounts on Social sites and harass the victim even more and torment them. This makes it hard for the victim to escape the Cyber Bullies, many people who have been Cyber Bullied have actually taken their own life because it keeps on getting worse for them every day. Some may even find a way around it if they're lucky enough, or some might report it to the Police after a while because it's getting harder for them to coupe with all the harassment and bullying from people over the Internet. I personally think that each time more people use the Internet a small amount of the people will become Cyber Bullies and will find joy in bullying others.
